Beauty of Nature Sragen's Batik

Geographically, Sragen regency is located not so far from Solo, the city which is well known as its high precious batik art and culture such as Keraton Surakarta. Talking about Keraton Surakarta can not be separated from the making of batik art, because in the bygones days, the women family of Keraton always spent their time by making batik.

As time goes by and the increase batik clothes demand that had become traditional cloth at that time then batik art introduced into Keraton area and the surroundings so that there were many enterpreneurs in batik industry. The emerging of these batik craftmen was also followed by some Sragen people who dwelled around Bengawan Solo River who were at first learned from batik craftmen from Solo.

Because of the tough and persevering effort of Sragen people in developing batik and also by increase of batik demand of the Sragen craftman, then it was created specific design of Sragen's Batik
